Vita L. Hankins - CEO
Vita L. Hankins is the founder and CEO of VLFreight. A U.S. Navy veteran with 23 years of dedicated and devoted service to her country, she is an early starter, a curious individual, analytical to the core, and most importantly – a doer. Vita led teams instrumental in pioneering Navy Cyber Security operations, and combat and intelligence support missions.
A life-long native of Marshall County, located in the northwest region of Mississippi, has over 20 years of family ties to the freight transportation and mechanical service industries. An advocate for safety first, customer-focus, team-centering, and superior quality in every task, she is committed to upholding a high bar of excellence and ensuring that VLFreight, LLC is a cornerstone and asset to the local community and surrounding regions.
An active member of the community, Vita believes and lives by firm core values of Faith, Family, Community, and Excellent Client Service.

Marickael Humphreys is the dedicated shop manager for VLFreight, LLC. The son of a freight driver and mechanic, Marickael, has been surrounded by the freight transportation and mechanical service industries his entire life. As a youth, he would spend his time washing trucks and being an eagle-eyed observer at his family’s shop.
It was no problem when Marshall County native enrolled at Nashville Auto-Diesel College. After graduation, Marickael’s executed his abilities immediately in the industry. Winning a position as a manager at a shop in Maryland from a talented pool of candidates. He has managed other shops in Mississippi and Tennessee.
Wanting to give back to his community, Marickael now implements the skills of ordering parts, designating, and scheduling work for technicians, troubleshooting maintenance issues, and his excellent managerial skills to lead the shop for VLFreight, LLC. Marickael’s motto is “hard work pays off.” He utilizes this as his basis for helping to supply jobs to local technicians in his hometown
